How does Sift verify riders?+
Every rider submits a valid South African ID or passport plus a live selfie. The selfie is cross-referenced against the submitted identification before rides can be requested.

How do I become a Sift driver?+
Sign up in the Sift app as a driver and complete identity, vehicle and document verification. Our team will guide you through the remaining steps.
What services does Sift offer?+
Two: Sift Ride for verified passenger transport, and Sift Send for parcel delivery with a motorbike courier fleet.
How does payment work?+
Trips can be paid in cash or in-app. Where cash is collected, the driver keeps the fare and the Sift commission is settled through their Sift balance in the app.
What safety features does the app have?+
Identity-verified riders and drivers, real-time GPS tracking, in-app SOS, trip sharing and driver ratings.
Is my personal data safe?+
